Jordan Essentials offers several wonderful therapeutic-grade pure essential oils to use in your home and in your body care routines.  Our pure essential oils are highly concentrated and can be diffused or combined with a variety of our body care and face care lines.

A popular essential oil is our Tea Tree Essential Oil.  Tea Tree EO comes as either a dropper or as a spray.  Tea Tree essential oil comes from the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia tree, which is similar to the cypress tree and has needlelike leaves with white flower heads, and found primarily in Australia.  Tea Tree is steam distilled into a potent oil that has been found to be antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, antiviral, analgesic, and decongestant.

Top Uses for Tea Tree Essential Oil:

  • With an estimated twelve (12) times the antiseptic power of a phenol, Tea Tree has been used for centuries by Australian Aborigines to treat bronchitis, colds, and the flu, often by crushing the leaves in their hands and inhaling the aroma. Steam inhalation or diffusing may help ease congestion.

  • Tea tree has immune-stimulating properties that help the body fight off infection.  Try adding Tea Tree Essential Oil to Unscented Magnesium Lotion and massage along the spine and on the bottoms of the feet during convalescence.

  • Studies show that Tea Tree is effective against a range of bacteria, virus’, and fungi that can lead to infection, so it is a popular oil to have in the first aid kit.  Use Tea Tree Essential Oil Spray to help treat cuts, scrapes, bruises, acne, athlete’s foot, nail fungus, ringworm, cold sores, and warts.

  • Added to Jordan Essentials Shampoo, tea tree is an excellent hair tonic which can help bring dandruff under control.  Used as a rinse, tea tree can restore the balance of oils to combat oily hair.

  • A natural deodorizer, tea tree is effective at eliminating the bacteria that contributes to body odor.  Try Jordan Essentials Charcoal Deodorant with Lavender, Tea Tree, and Peppermint essential oils, coupled with our Resistance Spray.  Also use Tea Tree Essential Oil Spray to combat those stinky feet!

  • Tea Tree is also a natural pest deterrent and has been found effective in treatment of lice, ticks, and chiggers.  It is not recommended to use Tea Tree Essential Oil on cats, however it is generally considered safe for dogs and other pets.

  • Combine Tea Tree Essential Oil with Skin Relief Lotion and apply topically to eczema, hives, and rashes as the antiseptic qualities of the tea tree support the skin-healing qualities of the lotion.
